UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned Tuesday the firing of rockets from Lebanon into Israel, which prompted Israel to return fire, dpa reported.
There were no reports of casualties in the exchange of fire, the UN said. The UN peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon has launched an investigation in cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Israeli Defence Forces.
