( dpa ) - A charred, yet unidentified corpse was found in the torched building of the United States embassy in Belgrade, TV B92 reported Thursday.
The US embassy building was torched during a massive protest in Belgrade against the independence of Kosovo and Western support for it. The fire had apparently spread across the ground and first floor of the attacked consular section.
It remained unclear whether any US personnel were in the embassy at the time of the attack.
