Eight die in plane crash in Moldova
( Russiatoday ) - A Ukrainian made cargo plane, An-32, has crashed at the airport of the Moldovan capital, Chisinau. According to reports, eight crewmembers died. Six bodies have been recovered so far at the crash site, where emergency crews are currently working.
Reportedly, three of the crewmembers were Moldovans and five - Ukrainian citizens.
The plane, belonging to a Sudanese airline, crashed as it was attempting to make an emergency landing shortly after take off and burst into flames, airport officials said.
The fire has been extinguished.
It was a cargo charter flight. The plane was heading to Sudan via Turkey.
