Ukraine, Kiev, 22 May / corr. Trend Z. Novosvitski/ The Family, Youth and Sport Ministry of Ukraine and Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan has signed a Program on Cooperation in Youth Policy and Sport for 2008-2009.
The program was signed during the meetings of the Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan Victor Yushenko and Ilham Aliyev.
The Program envisages the cooperation in two levels: between state bodies and public organizations.
The program especially envisages exchange of experience in youth policy, promoting athletic movement, use of the sport facilities and implementation of the anti-doping convention and others.
The program also envisages mutual invitation of the youth to the summer camps, the exchange of the visit of the delegations of the youth, student and sport federations and athletic and sport societies.
Sport events are expected to be held in Ukraine and Azerbaijan including international wrestling tournament dedicated to the well-known Ukrainian wrestlers (Ukraine, February 2009), international boxing tournament among juniors dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aiyev (Azerbaijan, May 2009) and other competitions.
