Azerbaijani and Ukrainian Presidents to Hold Negotiations on Bilateral and Regional Cooperation in Baku

Ukraine, Kiev, 24 June / Trend corr. Z.Novosvitski / The meeting between the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Ukrainian's Viktor Yushenko on the bilateral and regional cooperation will be held in Baku. This was said by Talat Aliyev, Azerbaijani Ambassador in Ukraine.

Yushenko charged the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers to work out a plan of arrangements within the framework of his visit to Azerbaijan and Georgia to participate at the 3rd summit of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM.

According to Aliyev, the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian negotiations will be held within the framework of Ukrainian President's one day official visit to the country. Both Presidents will unveil the monument to Taras Shevchenko, Ukrainian great poet, before the Drujba theater in Baku. It is expected that after the visit to Azerbaijan Ukraine's President will pay a visit to Georgia to attend the summit of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM.
