Michael Ballack is an injury doubt on the eve of Sunday's Euro 2008 final
against Spain, the German football federation said Saturday.
The Chelsea midfielder missed the team's final training Saturday evening
at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna.
Ballack, 31, has complained since Friday of a problem to his right calf muscle.
He did not train with the team at their Swiss base in Tenero on Friday evening.
"A decision on whether Ballack can play on Sunday is completely open and
will be decided at short notice," the German football federation said.
Ballack stayed at the team's hotel for treatment on Saturday
evening, dpa reported.
