Ten people were killed in the Nigerian capital Abuja Friday in a crash involving an articulated truck and a commuter bus, reported dpa.
Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in Abuja, Nseobong Akpabio, said 18 people were taken to hospital.
He blamed the accident on speeding and the violation of traffic rules.
The truck was later set ablaze by an irate mob.
