A Kuwaiti diplomat was attacked inside his home, locked in the cellar and robbed by two masked men earlier this week, the Hungarian agency MTI reported Thursday.
The agency, citing police, said the diplomat - who was not identified - was attacked late Tuesday evening in his home. The diplomat's co-workers freed him on Wednesday morning, MTI said, reported dpa.
By police accounts, the victim was not mishandled any further beyond being locked in his cellar. There was no exact information about the value of the items stolen from him.
