Residents of Belarus-Lithuania cross-border regions to travel visa free

Belarus and Lithuania will soon sign an intergovernmental agreement on border cooperation. Accoridgn to the agreement, the citizens of the two countries, who live in the areas not more than 50 kilometres away from the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, will travel visa free, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Belarus Edminas Bagdonas told reporters on November 14.

According to the diplomat, the agreement has already been drafted. The document is expected to be signed within the next few weeks, reported Belta.
