A total of nine people were killed and 19 injured when a bus went out of control and overturned along a major highway in Malaysia's southern state of Johor early Sunday, dpa reported.
The injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital, district police chief Nasir Mohamad Ali was quoted as saying by the official Bernama news agency.
The bus was carrying 26 passengers plus the driver and his assistant en route to the southern Johor state from the northern state of Perak when the accident occurred.
