US President Barack Obama has lost another nominee for the position of commerce secretary as Republican Senator Judd Gregg withdrew his name on Thursday, dpa reported.
Gregg cited "policy" differences with Obama on "critical items," according to a statement quoted by CNN.
"Obviously the president requires a team that is fully supportive of his initiatives," Gregg said.
