Iran must try to regain international community’s confidence: Iranian presidential candidate

Candidate for Iran's presidential election Mir-Hossein Mousavi held a meeting with journalists and made public his election platform, the Iranian Mehr information agency reported.

Former Prime Minister of Iran has promised that if he wins the election, he will try to rectify the shortcomings in the government and establish a system of information, which is the "right of people".

"I think that, in accordance with the national interests the activity in foreign policy should be increased. We must act to resolve problems. We must try is to re-gain the trust of the international community," Mousevi said.

Mousevi said that stability in the foreign, economic and internal policy is the main ground of his election platform.

The freedoms, which were approved in the Constitution, must be implemented in favor of the country, Mousevi said.
