A strong quake rocked the Panama City at 1:49 a.m. local time Saturday (0649 GMT), but there are no reports of casualties so far, Xinhua reported.
The quake, which the U.S. Geological Survey said was measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale, was felt strongly in the capital city.
