A roadside bomb exploded in Ghazni province in south Afghanistan wounding seven personnel of the law enforcing agencies, a local official said Thursday, reported Xinhua.
"The gruesome incident occurred in Dayak district Wednesday evening and five policemen and staffs of national intelligence service were injured," Ismael Jehangir, the spokesman for provincial administration, told Xinhua.
Two of the injured are in critical condition, he added.
Taliban militants often carry suicide and roadside bombings to mount pressure on security forces in Afghanistan.
