Macedonia striker Goran Pandev Monday signed a contract with Inter Milan after controversially ending a five-year stint at Lazio, dpa reported.

The Inter web site reported that Pandev, 26, signed a contract until June 2014 and that he will be officially presented on Thursday.

The Italian champions bought the forward when he was 18, and after one season loaned him to lower-division side Spezia and to Ancona, with which he debuted in Serie A.

Lazio bought him in 2007, but his relationship with president Claudio Lotito lately deteriorated until the Macedonian obtained the severance of his contract from a sports judge, who fined Lazio 160,000 euros (230,000 dollars).

The Rome side, meanwhile, have hired Sergio Floccari, 28, on loan from Genoa, who in the summer bought him from Atalanta.

Another loan deal is likely to take Juventus defender Cristian Molinaro, 26, to German side VfB Stuttgart after rumours that he was moving to Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish side, however, appear close to welcoming Portuguese midfielder Tiago, 28, also from Juve.
