Robinho ends World Cup goal drought against favourite foe

Seven of the 20 goals Robinho has scored for Brazil under coach Carlos Dunga have come against Chile, so was no surprise that the Santos striker ended his goal drought in South Africa against what must be his favourite opposition, dpa reported.

"Thank God, I was able to score my goal," he said. "After the first one, more will come."

Dedicating the goal to his son, Robson Junior, Robinho admitted that he always seems to be a bit lucky against Chile.

"I prepare myself the same to play against any team," he said, "but I am luckier against Chile - maybe it's God's will."
