Queen Elizabeth II arrives at UN, first visit in 50 years

Queen Elizabeth II arrived at the United Nations headquarters in New York Tuesday for her first visit in more than 50 years, dpa reported.

The queen, 84, and her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, were received by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and high-ranking UN officials before she was to address the UN General Assembly.
