On Monday, Afghan President Hamid Karzai instructed to conduct investigation on the murder of ex-mayor of Gereshk Haji Ibrahim by international peacekeeping force, a source at the Presidential Administration of Afghanistan told Trend.
On Monday, in the Afghan province of Helmend, the international peacekeeping forces attacked at the house of ex-mayor of Gereshk. During the attack, Haji Ibrahim was killed and six members of his family were arrested.
Karzai has been informed about the details of the murder by the head of the Helmend province. As it became known that Haji Ibrahim was innocent and arrested members of his family are also innocent. Afghanistan's President has instructed the head of Helmenda to discuss the matter with officials of NATO and ISAF, and report to the President on the results of negotiations on making a relevant decision.
