Senior Chinese and U.S. military officials will exchange visits in 2011, a Chinese Defense Ministry official said Friday, Xinhua reported.
The two sides have agreed that U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates will visit China on Jan. 10-14, 2011, and Chen Bingde, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), will visit the United States at a mutually convenient date in 2011, Guan Youfei, deputy director of the ministry's Foreign Affairs Office, told a press conference here.
