Spanish Liga club Getafe announced on Monday the signing of Algerian midfielder Mehdi Lacen from Racing Santander, for an undisclosed fee, DPA reported.
Lacen, 26, has signed a four-year contract with Getafe, who are also close to signing Alberto Lopo and Juan Rodriguez from relegated Deportivo La Coruna.
Lacen is Getafe's fourth summer signing, after coach Luis Garcia from Levante, goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya from Valencia and striker Diego Castro from Sporting Gijon.
