The tsunami warning is canceled for certain coastal areas in Alaska following a powerful earthquake, the U.S. West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said Thursday night.
"No destructive tsunami has been recorded, and no tsunami danger exists along the coasts of the U.S. west coast states, Alaska, and British Columbia," the center said, Xinhua reported.
