Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the terror act in "İntercontinental" hotel, where many foreigners live, the presidential press-service told Trend.

Six terrorists attacked the "İntercontinental" hotel, popular among foreigners, in Kabul, Afghanistan last evening. The terrorists and security forces exchanged fire about 5 hours. As a result of the shooting, all six terrorists were killed. But there is no information about the dead or wounded among security forces. It was reported that 10 hotel employees were killed as a result of the terror act.

The Afghan President expressed his condolences to the bereaved families.

The "İntercontinental" hotel is in the west of Kabul. It is one of the two main hotels where foreigners live. "Taliban" movement took the responsibility for the terror act.
