One killed in mosque bombing in Philippines
One man was killed when a bomb exploded outside a mosque in the southern Philippines, a regional police chief said Saturday, DPA reported.
The victim was the caretaker of the mosque conducting his regular inspection late Friday in Shariff Aguak town in Maguindanao province, 960 kilometres south of Manila.
Superintendent Marcelo Pintac said the victim died instantly from shrapnel.
Police were investigating the motive.
