Six or seven gunshots were heard before dawn Wednesday during a raid by French police on a house in Toulouse in connection with the killings of seven people, including three children at a Jewish school, dpa quoted the AFP news agency as reporting.
A suspect in the killings had been holed up in the house since 3:30 am (0230 GMT) and negotiations were being conducted, local media reports said.
