At least 10 people were killed and four injured when a van hit a roadside bomb in Pakistan's north-western tribal region Wednesday, an official said, dpa reported.
The early morning incident took place in the Sipah area of Orakzai, one of seven districts where militants affiliated with the Taliban are fighting government forces.
"According to initial information 10 people were killed in the blast while the death toll might rise as four injured are in critical condition," local government official Muhammad Farooq said by phone.
