Two people were killed Tuesday and six seriously injured when a Polish bus crashed on a motorway in north-eastern France, local authorities said, dpa reported.
It was not clear what caused the bus to veer off the road near the city of Mulhouse, close to the German border. No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
The injured were evacuated to hospital by helicopter, the prefecture said.
Some 150 rescue workers and 60 police were at the scene.
The bus was carrying 65 passengers in total.
