Aircraft Tu-204 skidded off the runway at the "Vnukovo" Airport and caught fire, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Russian Interior Ministry's Transport Department on the Central Federal District, RIA Novosti reported.
"Today, at about 16:35 at the capital airport "Vnukovo" Tu-204 aircraft skidded off the runway while landing, as a result of which it caught fire," the source said without specifying details.
According to unofficial data, there were 12 people on board and the aircraft was flying from the Czech Republic.
A representative of Moscow inter-regional investigation department on transport of Russian Investigation Committee told RIA Novosti that investigators have already left for the incident scene.
