5.2-magnitude quake hits Afghanistan

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted 24km East of Farkhar, Afghanistan at 17:30 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 211.6 km, was initially determined to be at 36.5368 degrees north latitude and 70.1321 degrees east longtitude.
