The US doesn't intend to enter a conflict with Russia and hopes for a diplomatic solution to the confrontation in eastern Ukraine, the US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Feb. 4.
He made the remarks at a joint press conference with Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv.
Kerry said Russia continues its aggression in eastern Ukraine.
He also noted that the US isn't trying to enter a conflict with Russia, adding that no one wants this, neither the President Petro Poroshenko, nor the US, nor the European community.
