Moscow does not rule out a bilateral meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the US Secretary of State John Kerry on the sidelines of Syria talks in Lausanne on Saturday, a source in Russia’s Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti Oct. 13.
Earlier, there was a report about a ministerial meeting on Syria with participation of Russia, the US and regional states, particularly Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
The US Department of State also did not rule out the possibility of holding a separate bilateral meeting of the Russian and US foreign affairs authorities.
