Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul was hit by three rockets on Monday afternoon, IRNA reported.
The attack has left no fatalities, the Afghan media said.
The rockets have reportedly hit the outside area of the airport.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility yet.
Different areas in the Afghan capital, including Hamid Karzai International Airport, had been targeted by rocket attacks in the past.
