(ForUm) - Head of Rosselhoznadzor (Russian agricultural control service) Sergey Dankvert and deputy agrarian minister of Ukraine Petro Verbitsky inked a protocol on condition of supply of milk and meat production from Ukraine to Russia and on cancellation of limits on transit of cattle-breeding production through the territory of Ukraine, reports Trend.

In particular, this document provides for renewal of transit of cattle-breeding production through the territory of Ukraine to Russia from EU countries, including Hungary and Austria, as well as renewal of supply of Ukrainian beef to Russia, Dankvert told ITAR-TASS.

The meat may be supplied by automobile and railway transport through the Brynskaya region. Ukrainians are obliged to inform the Brynsk territorial department of Rosselhoznadzor about meat origin in advance, the official said.

Dankvert specified that splitting of transit deliveries, change of transport and keeping of the given production on the territory of Ukraine are strongly prohibited.

According to him, if Ukrainian side meets all requirements of Russian veterinary service, the number of check-points will increase.
