Ukrane's Defense Minister discusses military cooperation with Argentinean colleague

(ForUm) - An Argentinean military delegation, headed by Argentinean Defense Minister Nilda Garre, pays a two-day visit to Ukraine, Cabinet's press office reported.

In the margins of the visit Nilda Garre met with Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko to discuss prospects of development of bipartite military cooperation.

Anatoliy Hrytsenko spoke at length about reformation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports Trend.

The Ukrainian Defense Minister stated both sides' interest in launch of joint projects in the sectors of transportation, communication and military cooperation. According to him, joint Ukrainian-Argentinean projects will enable the countries to solve important problems in the security and economic sectors.

On October 30, representatives of the Argentinean delegation held negotiations with leadership of the state run company "UkrSpetsExport" and the Antonov Aircraft Design Manufacturing Complex.
