Ukraine’s first vice prime minister insists on regular meetings between president and prime minister

( ForUm ) - The first vice PM, the Finance Minister Mykola Azarov considers it is incorrect that the President Viktor Yushchenko does not hold regular meeting with the PM Viktor Yanukovych. He told today the parliamentary journalists, the ForUm's correspondent informs.

"Because of questions importance the regular meetings between two highest officials are necessary," he noted.

"I consider the sooner we continue our conversation began on April 25 and interrupted by the President's decree, the sooner we return to normal interaction," Azarov said.

Answering the question of ForUm's correspondent what actions coalition will take in case the president refuses to continue dialogue, Azarov said: "I don't understand how one can't negotiate with political forces representing about 50% of the Ukraine's population."
