As part of the fight against the FETO terrorist movement, 46 law enforcement officers have been detained in Ankara and 4 provinces of the country, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish media.

During the investigation it was established that they all had close ties with the FETO terrorists.

Over the past seven months, 1,076 servicemen have been dismissed from the Turkish armed forces within the fight against the FETO.

Reportedly, 624 servicemen dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces, served in the army ground forces, 107 servicemen - in the navy and 345 servicemen - in the air force.

A group of rebels attempted a military coup in Turkey on the night of July 16, 2016. The main confrontation broke out in Ankara and Istanbul. More than 250 Turkish citizens were killed, over 2,000 people were injured, the mutiny was suppressed
