Steel exports from Turkey to Georgia from January through September 2021 increased by 19.7 percent compared to the same period last year up to $113.2 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, steel exports from Turkey to Georgia in September 2021 reached $20.7 million, which is 52.4 percent more than the same period last year.
It is also reported that in 9M2021 Turkey increased steel exports by 77.5 percent compared to the same period last year up to $15.8 billion.
In September, Turkey exported steel worth $2.613 billion, which is 1.4 times more than in September 2020.
Over the past 12 months (September 2020 - September 2021), Turkish steel exports amounted to $19.5 billion.
