Turkish ETI MADEN I.G.M intends to implement several projects by end of 2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. The Turkish ETI MADEN I.G.M boron mining company intends to implement 14 projects worth 350 million Turkish liras ($22.8 million), the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey told Trend.

All projects will be implemented at the expense of the state budget, the ministry said.

"Last year, the company also implemented 14 projects at the expense of the state budget," the ministry said.

A total of 130 energy projects will be implemented in Turkey by the end of 2022. Some 23.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.5 billion) will be allocated for their implementation.

A part of the projects will be financed by attracting foreign loans for 3.7 billion Turkish liras ($240 million).

Turkey’s spending on the implementation of energy projects in 2021 amounted to 16.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.09 billion).

A total of 125 energy projects were implemented in Turkey last year, for the implementation of which funds from foreign loans in the amount of 3.1 billion Turkish liras ($200 million) were attracted.
