BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. A total of 76 companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Türkiye from January through September 2022, up by 45 companies against the same period of 2021, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
In the reporting period, the total capital of registered Turkmen companies in Türkiye amounted to 22.5 million Turkish liras ($1.208 million), while in the same period of 2021, this figure was 8.8 million Turkish liras ($472,592).
During this time, 73 companies with Turkmen capital were listed in Istanbul with 22.2 million Turkish liras ($1.19 million) of overall capital.
Out of the total number of registered companies, one company is involved in construction, whereas 45 – in wholesale and retail trade. The remaining companies operate in other sectors of the Turkish economy.
