BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. The overall value of Türkiye's automotive product exports climbed by 16 percent from January to July 2023 compared to the same period last year, reaching $20.1 billion, according to the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $2.7 billion worth of automotive products in July this year, which is 33.2 percent more than in July last year," the ministry stated.
Turkey exported $33.7 billion in automotive items in the previous 12 months (from July 2022 to July 2023).
Total Turkish vehicle exports to foreign markets climbed by 13.7 percent in the first half of this year compared to the same time in 2022, totaling $17.3 billion.
In addition, Türkiye exported $3 billion worth of automotive products in June of this year, which is 8.7 percent more than in the same month last year.
