BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 15. Türkiye's Kocaeli port received 9,560 ships from January through December 2023, Trend reports, referring to Türkiye's Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
According to the Ministry, Kocaeli port received 2,875 vessels under the flag of Türkiye and 6,685 vessels under the flags of other countries during the mentioned period.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's ports received 60,195 vessels from January through December 2023.
During this period, the number of vessels under the flags of other countries accepted by Türkiye's ports amounted to 40,918, and vessels under the Türkiye's flag amounted to 19,277.
The Ministry noted that in December of last year, Türkiye's ports accepted 4,697 vessels.
According to the information, the number of vessels under the flags of other countries amounted to 3,190, and vessels under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 1,507.
