The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan chaired by the judge Rafik Mammadov will handle the cassation on 2 November of the arrested Alovsat Aliyev, a brother of the ex-Minister of Economic Development Farhad Aliyev, the judge told Trend.
The candidacy of Aliev from Djalilabad rural constituency N68 has been cancelled. In this regard he lodged a complaint to the Court of Appeal which did not handle the appeal. Thereafter Aliyev appealed to the Supreme Court.
