Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR transferred 562.78 million Azerbaijani manats to the state budget in January-May 2016, as compared to 605.04 million manats in the same period of 2015, SOCAR said in a message June 13.
The official exchange rate is 1.5114 AZN/USD as of June 13.
In total, SOCAR transferred 1.48 billion manats to the state budget in 2015 versus 1.86 billion manats in 2014.
The company also transferred 57.36 million manats to the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of Azerbaijan in January-May 2016, as compared to 57.84 million manats in the same period of 2015.
SOCAR transferred 139.29 million manats to the SSPF in 2015 versus 141.24 million manats in 2014.
SOCAR is the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan.
