Turkmenistan will purchase agricultural equipment in European countries in order to successfully implement reforms in the sphere of agriculture and water resources, as well as strengthen the material and technical base of the industry.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the relevant decree.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Turkmenistan will sign contracts with Umax Trade GmbH (Germany) for the purchase of agricultural equipment, units, dredgers, as well as spare parts and consumables to them on condition of supply of the equipment to Turkmenistan in three stages in 2017-2020, according to the document.
In addition, a contract with John Deere International GmbH (Switzerland) will be signed for the purchase of agricultural equipment, units, as well as spare parts and consumables to them.
