Iran’s Kish Island hosts 10th international energy exhibition

The 10th annual Kish International Energy Exhibition kicked off on Jan. 13 on the Persian Gulf island, the IRNA News Agency reported on Jan. 13.

The four-day event is being held at the Kish International Exhibition Center.

Some 50 foreign companies from countries including China, Turkey, the Netherlands, Italy, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, France, Austria, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Russia, England, Japan, Portugal, Canada, Kuwait, and Switzerland are taking part in the event.

The number of participants has increased by 80 percent compared to last year.

The main purpose of the 10th International Energy Exhibition is to encourage domestic and foreign investors to take advantage of the available potentialities through transferring technology and making joint venture in the projects.
