The Kazakh Aktau International Sea Commercial Port transshipped 3.52 million tons of oil cargo in 2015 compared to 5.95 million tons in 2014, said the message on the port's website Jan. 6.
Some oil transshipped through the Aktau Port is transported to Baku, from where it is supplied to the Black Sea Port of Georgia via railway, and transported by Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline.
Some 2.38 million tons of dry cargo handled by the port in 2015, includes 1070 tons - of metal production, 466,000 tons - of ferry cargo, 501,000 tons - of grain, 338,000 tons - of other cargoes.
The port transshipped 5.9 million tons of cargo in 2015 compared to 10.27 million tons in 2014.
