An Iranian company has signed a joint venture agreement with France’s Mecaplast, whereby auto parts will be manufactured for both Iranian and French markets.

Iran’s Ambassador to France Ali Ahani, speaking on the sidelines of the ceremony where the JV agreement was signed, said while the French company helps Iran in making parts, 30 percent of the products will be exported to France, Mehr news agency reported February 24.

Pierre Boullet, the manager of the French company Mecaplast, said while in the past years his company used to export parts to Iran, now it is going to turn Iran into a hub for manufacturing auto parts.
He added that the contract will turn into action soon, saying the products will be out before the end of 2017.
