Iranian MP, Abbas Ali Mansouri Arani, who is a member of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said the parliament should support the country's nuclear negotiators.

"The negotiating team has proceeded with the issue smartly. The talks have summed up anyway. In my opinion, the negotiating team should be supported," Arani said in an interview on April 3 with Trend Agency.

The negotiating team's performance showed Iran is moving on the path toward peace and that the country is just using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, he added.

Iran and world powers reached a framework agreement on Thursday on curbing Iran's nuclear program for at least a decade.

A couple of hours after reaching the agreement, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on his Facebook page appreciated the negotiating team.

"Thanks to unstoppable efforts of the negotiators and under the support of the Supreme Leader and the Iranian nation, finally we found out solutions for key parameters in nuclear talks."

According to a joint announcement, Iran will have only one uranium enrichment plant, Natanz, also Iran will change the Fordo uranium enrichment plant to a nuclear research site.

Iran will also change the design of Arak heavy water plant to make less plutonium and the International Atomic Energy Agency will have more access to Iran's nuclear facilities.

In exchange EU and the US will halt their sanctions on Iran after reaching a comprehensive nuclear deal (expected to be achieved by June 30).
