The Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry announced the results of monitoring on bird flu.
The first republic-wide monitoring of "bird flu" launched Jan.10, studied the pathological material of 23 wild and 1,368d domestic birds at the National Veterinary Laboratory of Agriculture Ministry, the laboratory told Trend. The lab did not found the virus in the samples.
The State Veterinary Service will consistently carry out the republic monitoring. Given the following migration of birds, regular monitoring scheduled for Jan. 31.
