Azerbaijani rowers Sergei Bezugli and Maxim Prokopenko will take part in the championship of Europe, to be held in the Spanish city of Trasona, the National Rowing Federation said.
Sportsmen will compete at a two-seater-boat at a distance of 1,000, 500 and 200 meters.
Earlier, Azerbaijani rowers led by coach Alexandera Kolibelnikova were trained at the training camp in Poland. They participated in the preparatory stages of the World Cup on the eve of the championship, where they won one gold, two silver and one bronze medals.
Bezugli and Prokopenko competed at a distance of 200 meters at these competitions.
European Championship will start in July with semi-final competitions at the distance 1,000 and 500 meters.
