Kazakhstan and Belarus have discussed bilateral cooperation and reached an agreement on joint activities on the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said.
During a meeting with Kazakh Ambassador Yergali Bulegenov and Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy, they discussed the common economic space between Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as the formation of a full-fledged contractual and legal base.
The sides also discussed fulfillment of agreements reached during Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's official visit to Belarus in May 2012, as well as organizing Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich's visit to Kazakhstan, the next meeting of intergovernmental commission, business forum, which are scheduled for the autumn.
The Belarusian official also expressed readiness to increase Belarusian agricultural equipment supplies to Kazakhstan.
